AGM

Our AGM took place in The Lodge at Lesnes Abbey Woods on Monday 8th July 2024 and a big thank you to the 20 members who came along to support this important governance meeting.

Another round of applause to John, Phil and Ric of The Backroom Boys for providing the music afterwards which was a great way to end the meeting.

Click the button below for full the minutes, accounts summary and chair's report.

Next up is the Farmer's Market this coming Sunday, 14th July.

Check out our new POETRY BOOK showcasing the submissions at last years woodland festival.

Lesnes Abbey Woods is a park in the London Borough of Bexley that contains the ruins of an abbey and an ancient woodland famous for its wild daffodils.

We are the Friends of Lesnes Abbey and Woods, or FOLAW for short, and our aim is to help promote, protect and preserve this historical place.

We are a non-profit organisation operating with charitable objectives and bound by a constitution.

Join us to celebrate and protect our ancient woodland and historical ruins.

GREEN FLAG AWARD

We are delighted to announce that Lesnes Abbey has retained its offical recognition as one of the country's best parks. The green flag scheme recognises and rewards well managed green parks and spaces. Huge congratulations to the amazing staff (and volunteers)
